Improving the way we make clothing in America begins with selecting non-toxic, biodegradable fabrics is crucial. Eyes are being opened. People are learning about the damages caused by irresponsible business practices present in the current fast-fashion industry. Consequently, people are searching for a better way. The slow fashion movement is a beautiful movement to be a part of. There is one thing I would never sacrifice, and that is fair wages. To me, it’s one of the most troubling aspects of the fashion industry. Behind every piece of clothing there is a person, and I just want people to consider that when making a purchase.
